Just sneak around and avoid the alien as much as possible (keep moving) and you should be fine. You can go directly to the Habitat and backtrack from there and find lots of great stuff (even opening the Tanaka safe). take the elevator back to the Spire and then backtrack from the transit station. It's actually more profitable to wait until you are done with the Anesidora mission and even doing the mission where you set up the comms to talk to Verlaine.
but you can back track a pretty good ways to open some doors with the maintenance jack and the level of hacktool and cutter that you have at that point. Launch Ambulance Shuttle Another easy feat to accomplish, enter the cockpit and hit launch.
You may not be able to open every door yet (as you will need the last hack tool to do that). Head toward Towerlink 01, hack the door and get onto the shuttle. However, be warned, that mod (or cheat) will go into dead areas that are completely blank (i.e no rooms just black). I've never used it but have seen it in use on some youtube videos.
